Micah (boy)
- Is it just me or does it seem like every time you turn around there's another little baby Andrew or Elijah or Matthew? Well, here is your chance to use a perfectly fantastic Bible name without having to have it sound like you have no originality. Micah is an Old Testament name with the same meaning as Michael, but it's not overused and unoriginal feeling like Michael. Instead, it's refreshing and it ages rather nicely as well.
- This name sounds exotic.
- Another Biblical name....you can use it for either a boy or a girl. My niece has this name. Micah Jade.
- I think Micah has great sex appeal. It's shares many of the same qualities as Michael, but is fresher sounding. I can imagine a Micah being very popular with girls and having a outgoing personality.
- A biblical name, but not as common as Michael
- This is my brother's name. It comes from the writer of a small chapter of the bible. It's unusual, yet dignified. Also, if the 'h' is dropped from the end, you get Mica, like the stone!
- Micah Joseph: classical and strong, like a hero from the bible
This name has the exact same meaning as Michael, "who is like god?" The feminine form is Michal.
